argentina.piedepalo Argentina Dos Minas Mitravelas Estate, Red on Black, Nemea

This Malbec is made in stainless steel tanks as opposed to oak, so the fruit flavors are bright and fresh. Cherry, raspberry, and other red fruits make it a very versatile Malbec.

Appellation: Cafayate
Region: Salta
Country: Argentina
Varietal: TORRONTES
Wine Type: STILL
Vintage: 2013

The 2013 Torrontes has more floral and citrus notes due to the fact that the year was sunnier and drier than 2011 and 2012. The grapes were therefore healthier, and it is a wine that has more varietally typical, highly expressive notes of roses and orange blossoms and other flowers. We also sought to lower the alcohol to 13% so that the wine would be fresher and easier to drink, yet with good acidity.
Many Greek wines strike us as a tad out of the ordinary. Fluffy, dark raspberry flavors carry through from the nose to the palate, lending a pretty veneer to this meaty, earthy, medium-bodied red wine. This bottle will not disappoint.

Chile.Arte Noble SouthAfrica, MAN, Chenin Blanc Australian Wines Yalumba
MAN, Chenin Blanc, Agter-Paarl 2013 750ml
Our Price: $12.99
Sale Price: $12.99
Appearance: Deep, bright cherry red color.
Nose: Intense nose of strawberry and spiced wood.
In mouth: Smooth style, with round structure and well-balanced.
Pairing recommendation: Steak carpaccio with capers.
Chenin Blanc thrives in the Mediterranean climate, deep soils and bush-vine vineyards of our region. We use only the free-run juice (no pressing of the grapes) to preserve its clean and natural character, refreshing acidity and delicious ripe fruit flavours.

Bursting with flavour, our very "more-ish" Chenin Blanc is our best-selling white wine.
Ideal growing conditions, very special vines and of course our attention to detail in the winemaking create a mouth-watering Chenin Blanc with intense tropical fruit flavours offset by a vibrant acidity.
Tracing Dornfelder's family tree is a daunting task. A cross of Helfensteiner (an amalgam of Pinot Noir and Schiava) and Heroldrebe (a cross itself of Portugieser and Blaufrankisch and named for August Herold, who, confusingly, also created Dornfelder), the wine from this dark-skinned grape is spicy, fruity and crisp, and like most amiable mutts, quite lovable
Argentina alhambra argentina.perlita Bodegas Hermanos Peciña Rioja, Señorío de P. Peciña, Rioja, 2012 750ml

From the high elevation of Uco Valley this 100% estate fruit Cabernet is lush and dark with black cherry aromas and supple tannins. Unfiltered, unfined and matured in French oak for 12 months this hearty red is a tremendous value!

A beautifully layered red with dark chocolate, berry and light vanilla character. Full body plus ultra-fine tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Delicious now

A interesting unoaked tempranillo. It's got a lot going for it. It comes from one of our favorite producers in Pedro Peciña; it is all cooler climate Rioja Alta fruit; it is made from all estate vines; and it has a spicy, blue and purple fruited quality that is most distinctive for a joven or cosecha wine from Rioja. We cannot recommend highly enough this young Rioja

Muller-Thurgau was created in Switzerland in the 19th century as a hardy, early-ripening grape for table wines. It is now the most widely grown grape in Germany. Borell-Diehl makes it in the classic style: fresh, crisp, limey, and ridiculously easy to drink. A modest 12% alcohol with great acids and no oak (of course), it beats Pinot Grigio at its own game, offering great refreshment in a dry style but also the unique fruitiness of a cool climate aromatic grape. Did we mention it’s in a LITER? 33% more wine!

Jelu Pinot Noir is a hearty red wine, medium-bodied with wild raspberries and black cherries on the palate, and it will be just delicious tonight with a hearty meat dish.

Deep crimson in colour, this wine is an exotic mix of aromas – Turkish delight, cinnamon, black cherries and violets. Medium bodied to taste, Y Shiraz Viognier is packed full of rhubarb and spiced fruit cake, and finishes round and soft.
Match with sticky American style BBQ pork spare ribs
argentina.allamand Domaine Ledogar - "La Mariole" Vin de Table 2014 (750ml) Schuchmann, Pirosmani Kakheti
Allamand Malbec 750ml
Our Price: $14.99

Allamand, a fiercely hands-off, traditional grower in the higher reaches of the Uco Valley. There is a balance, restraint and understatement here that is the antithesis of jammy Argentinean Malbec, making it a lovely pairing with all sorts of substantial foods and red meats.

Domaine Ledogar is a small Estate where Xavier and Mathieu, brothers and winemakers at the same time, make biodynamic/all-natural wines since 1997.
"La Mariole" is 100% Carignan, showing a ripe, deep nose, with notes of wet wood and earth, leather, bold spices, earth and dark berries.
Persistent character on the palate.
Delicious wine at an unbelievable price. Great introduction for those willing to explore the natural wine world.
Autochthonous grape variety "Saperavi" From appellation zone "Napareuli. Fermentation was done in stainless steel tank. Without oak!

Agnus Merlot has an exquisite ruby red color and a delicate, complex aroma, with classic Merlot characteristics in its bouquet including red, ripe fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, and black mulberry. The palate will experience balanced, mature tannins, a smooth and harmonious wine which unveils a pleasant fruit taste, and a long finish.   The Schneider family has been in the wine trade since 1575.  Now the Schneiders cultivate 45 hectares, including 19 of their own, in some of the very best sites of the geologically diverse village Niederhausen. Over 52 different soil types can be found here, mostly based on volcanic rock and slate. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah

Harvested by machine at night, grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed before being kept at a low temperature and allowed to settle and clarify for 12-24 hours. Fermentation begins at about 16 Celsius and lasts 15-20 days, after which the wine is racked again. The wine is aged on fine lees for about 4 months and is bottled and ready for consumption soon after

Fans of Broadside's delicious Margarita Vineyard Cabernet, take note! This 2013 Paso Robles bottling is one of the most graceful wines we've tasted in the under $20 price range, combining 50% Margarita fruit with two other sustainably farmed Paso Robles vineyards. It is substantial and refreshing, with full flavors of sweet purple plums, spicy citrus oil, brambly black and blue berry fruit, and balanced, grippy young tannins. A truly fantastic value! Pinyolet, Garnacha, Montsant, 2012 750ml
Our Price: $16.99
Sale Price: $18.99
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the higher elevations of the Upper Galilee. Full-bodied with concentrated berry and plum notes layered with a hint of herbs.
Owned and managed by the Nikola family for nearly a century and a half, it is Heinz in the vineyards, wife Helga doing sales, son Frank in the cellar and his wife Katharina handling special events and festivals. Their 30 acres are farmed close to nature and their Rieslings are emblematic of the picturesque Rheingau; striking, precise and deliciously welcoming.
Pinyolet Garnacha reveals a rich strawberry and raspberry fruit intermixed with notes of licorice, crushed rock and earth, all offered in a medium to full-bodied, heady style. The price is a steal and the quality of the wine is impressive. Right ruby. Bright raspberry and blackberry on the nose. Red berry flavors are lifted by gentle acidity, picking up spiciness with air. Finishes broad and smooth, with good length

The idea behind TWISTED is the creation of a pleasant, easy drinking red wine, keeping complexity, mineral notes and great depth, like the classic Douro wines.
Red appearance with a very alive purple/red rim. The aroma is dominated by finesse, some unripe fruit character integrated with balsamic notes. On the palate the wine is well structured, uncomplicated and refreshing and the low level of wood contact allows the fruit and minerality of the wine to express itself. The middle palate is quite firm with good depth, while the finish exhibits complexity, medium length and superb freshness and acidity on the finish.

Les Grange aux Belles is a new winery which had its first vintage in 2008. A couple of young winemakers – Houtin & Julien Bresteau – head up this ‘naturalist’ operation. They make a number of cuvees, but the “53” is particularly interesting. It is made with Cabernet Franc from a vineyard planted in 1953 with massale selected vines and is fermented in unlined concrete vats without the addition of sulphur. Bright and lively deep cherry red with a pinkish rim. Intense on the nose, with aromas of ripe red berries (strawberries and blackberries) and roasted coffee and caramel balsamic notes. Good structured and well-balanced on the palate, with sweet tannins that led to a fresh and lingering finish. Aftertaste that recalls sweet spiced notes, candied fruit, minted chocolate, roasted coffee and caramel
Domaine Les Chaumes, Pouilly Fume 2013 Emerson Vineyards, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2012 Grochau Cellars, Commuter Cuvée
At various competitions this wine has been awarded a couple of prizes: the International Wine Challenge awarded the 2010 vintage Bronze and the Decanter World Wine Awards awarded Commended. The upper Loire Valley is known for two iconic wine growing sub-regions – Pouilly Fume, and Sancerre. Nearly all wine cultivated in these areas are from the Sauvignon Blanc variety.

Crisp, appropriately acidic, and aromatic, these wines are an amazing experience on both the nose and palate. They also tend to be somewhat more expensive compared to Sauvignon Blancs from other regions - but not necessarily without good reason.

A rich ruby color in the glass, this 2012 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is complex, perfectly balanced and has the depth of a mature, aged wine.

Aromas of concentrated bright cherries, raspberries and lingon berries dominate the initial smell then combine with nuanced scents of mineralty, oak and the vineyard in bloom.
In the mouth, the bright fruit notes burst through and mingle with lovely fine-grained tannins. Fantastically robust and luscious, this wine has a rich, velvety, long lingering finish.
Drink now or age for 3-5 years.

Pair with Baked Salmon, Rosemary Chicken or enjoy with Chocolate and or Cheese
Solid juice, this dark cherry Pinot is accented by cranberry, orange pekoe tea. A guilt-free bottle to open for your in-laws that you actually want to drink.

2013 vintage notes: One of the first 2013s released, a true harbinger of the amazing wines to come. Ready to drink, showy, bursting with dark raspberry and cherry flavors with a violet lift on the finish. Pinot for all palates. - Marcus
